15 Who is the
image of the invisible God, the firstborn of
every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that
are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be]
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all
things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is
before all things, and by him all things consist.

22 Who is a liar but he that denieth
that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that
denieth the Father and the Son.

hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1 John 4:1-4
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but
try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone
out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that comnfesseth that Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh is of God:
3 And every
spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:
and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should
come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is
in the world.

not...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us

hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:9
For there are three that bear record
in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7
|
God has a Son.
John 3:16 For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 5:9-13
10He that believeth on the Son of God
hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
because he believeth not the record that God gave of
his Son.
11And this is the record, that God
hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his
Son.
12He that hath
the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son
of God hath not life.
13These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the
name of the Son of God.
1 John 1:3 - That which we have seen
and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and
truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his

God.

that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God

Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David
according to the flesh;

Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

|
Jesus Christ is the Holy One.

with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee
who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Acts 2:27-36
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul
in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to
see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways
of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely
speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and
his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and
knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his
loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the
resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh
did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up,
whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand
of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy
Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens:
but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy
footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of
Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have
crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 3:13-14 The God of Abraham, and
of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus;
whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was
determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One
and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
Acts 13:34-35 And as concerning that
he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said
on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he saith
also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy
One to see corruption.

God.

away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world,

God's glorious appearance
Ezekiel 1:26-28
26 And above the
firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the
appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon
the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above
upon it.
27 And I saw as the
colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the
appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins
even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness
round about.
28 As the appearance
of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of
the brightness round about. This was the appearance
of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And
when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
Daniel 7:9
9 I beheld till the
thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the
pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning
fire.

Jesus Christ glorious
appearance
Revelation 1:13-16
13 And in the midst
of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son
of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with
a golden girdle.
14 His head and his
hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like
unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound
of many waters.
16 And he had in his
right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and
his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

God the Father is the
shepherd of the flock
Ezekiel 34:11-31
11 For thus saith the
Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my
sheep, and seek them out.
12 As a shepherd
seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are
scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been
scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
13 And I will bring
them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring
them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the
rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 I will feed them
in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be:
there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed
upon the mountains of Israel.
15 I will feed my flock, and I
will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.
16 I will seek that
which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up
that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will
destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God;
Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
18 Seemeth it a small
thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with
your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters,
but ye must foul the residue with your feet?
19 And as for my flock, they eat that which ye
have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with
your feet.
20 Therefore thus
saith the Lord God unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.
21 Because ye have
thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your
horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;
22 Therefore will I save my flock, and
they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed
them, and he shall be their shepherd.
24 And I the Lord
will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have
spoken it.
25 And I will make
with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and
they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26 And I will make
them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the
shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
27 And the tree of
the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and
they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I
have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of
those that served themselves of them.
28 And they shall no
more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour
them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.
29 And I will raise
up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger
in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.
30 Thus shall they
know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of
Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God.
31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your
God, saith the Lord God.

Jesus Christ is the shepherd
of the flock
John 10:7-29
7 Then said Jesus
unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came
before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by
me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
10 The thief cometh not,
but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have
life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life
for the sheep.
12 But he that is an
hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf
coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and
scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling
fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good
shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father
knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I
have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear
my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one
shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my
Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it
from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have
power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
19 There was a
division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
20 And many of them
said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
21 Others said, These
are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the
blind?
22 And it was at
Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23 And Jesus walked
in the temple in Solomon's porch.
24 Then came the Jews
round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If
thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered
them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's
name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe
not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my
voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto
them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck
them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which
gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my
Father's hand.
